Frontend Engineer

The Frontend Engineer is responsible for the quality, usability, performance, and stability of the platform on the frontend level. This role operates at the intersection of design, product delivery, and engineering, ensuring that user-facing interfaces, flows, and integrations are implemented cleanly, consistently, and efficiently. Working closely with the Product Delivery Manager and the external development agency, the Frontend Engineer plays a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the existing product, ensuring a high-quality user experience and fast reaction times in daily operations. The focus is not on building new backend features, but on frontend excellence, UI/UX quality, integrations, and quick operational fixes.

What you will do:

• Own the frontend quality across all user-facing areas, ensuring consistent visual appearance and behavior across devices and browsers.
• Translate designs (e.g. Figma) and product requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend code.
• Continuously improve UI/UX and user flows (onboarding, navigation, conversion, admin areas) based on feedback and product insights.
• Implement frontend features using Vue.js / Nuxt and TypeScript, working confidently with core Vue concepts (v-bind, v-model, v-if / v-show, v-for, props, component state, lifecycle).
• Structure, refactor, and maintain frontend components to ensure scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Identify and resolve UI bugs and frontend logic issues, ensuring reliable rendering and a smooth user experience.
• Embed, adapt, and maintain frontend components in WordPress and CMS-based environments, including external pages and landing pages.
• Ensure frontend integrations remain stable, performant, and easy to maintain through continuous monitoring and optimization.
• Maintain high UI quality standards and independently deliver quick fixes when issues arise and external developers are unavailable.
• Provide technical feedback and feasibility input – without owning the roadmap.

What you will bring:

• Strong experience in frontend development, ideally with Vue.js / Nuxt.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centric design.
• Strong understanding of APIs and backend logic (data flows, states, error handling).
• Proven experience with performance optimisation and UI quality assurance.
• Experience embedding and adapting components in WordPress or similar CMS.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for frontend quality.

Nice to have:

• Experience working on product-driven platforms (not only marketing websites).
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
• Experience collaborating with external development agencies.
• Background in fast-moving environments where pragmatic solutions are required.
