Job Description
Drives tender truck loaded with fertilizer to custom applicators by performing the following duties.
Job Duties
Drives truck into position to load at filling rack
Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank
Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded
Drives truck to customer's premises
Performs daily walk-around, checks truck and equipment daily, and reports any deficiencies
Monitors equipment for fertilizer or chemical leaks
Checks swath width and plugged tips on the application equipment and alerts operator of problems
Watches and listens for anything unusual which may not be detected from within the cab of the applicator equipment
Completes DOT And Other Required Documentation And Paperwork
Immediately cleans up any spills of product
Complies with US DOT drug or breathe alcohol testing requirements and complies with Ag Valley Co-op's Drug and Alcohol Policy
Performs maintenance and light repairs on truck and equipment as required.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Agricultural background beneficial.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement

Salary: $21.00 per hour
