Supply Chain Sr. Associate - Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Hybrid - Louisville, KY
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 11 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $35/$39 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader as a Senior Associate supporting Supply Chain Compliance across the U.S. region. This hybrid role focuses on temperature excursions, deviations, CAPAs, and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance. You will collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, IS, and external partners to ensure regulatory adherence and continuous improvement across the distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage temperature excursion records across the U.S. supply chain network
- Manage minor and major deviation records, including leading root cause analysis sessions
- Own and implement CAPA and CAPA EV records to ensure effective corrective actions
- Lead Event Review Team meetings related to missing product notifications
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections
- Maintain accurate compliance tracking in Smartsheet and related systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with GDP standards
- Apply risk-based decision-making and escalate compliance issues appropriately
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, IS, Supply Chain, and external vendor partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with 2+ years of GMP/GDP compliance experience
- OR
- 4+ years of GMP/GDP compliance experience without a Life Sciences degree
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, GMP, and GDP principles
- Experience managing deviations, CAPAs, and root cause investigations
- Proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, TrackWise/TrekWise, Veeva, and SAP
- Strong analytical, documentation, and technical writing skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Fluency in English
