About the role
There is currently a job opening for an “Airworthiness Review Engineer” in our Airworthiness Review team. In this role you will be performing the CAMO granted privileges of Airworthiness Review and Permit to Fly issuance. You will be also responsible for maintaining AEGEAN΄s CAMO exposition compliance with regulatory requirements. What you will do:
- Assist with the execution of the AEGEAN Group fleets’ Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) program, performing assigned Airworthiness Reviews and issuing, validating or extending ARC, as applicable.
- Liaise with all involved and responsible departments in order to achieve an effective Airworthiness Review, by acquiring resolution within agreed time frames of compliance and ARC expiration date, per regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Implement the application process of new aircraft certification entering the company’s fleets and import/export certification requirements for used aircraft.
- Liaise when required with HCAA, or other involved National Authorities, on assigned Airworthiness Reviews and certification processes.
- Prepare any necessary substantiating documents for the Flight Conditions approval by HCAA or other involved National Authority/EASA and/or by an approved DOA.
- Issue an aircraft Permit to Fly per regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Monitor HCAA and EASA Regulations and ensure that any changes or revisions are distributed to appropriate CAMO Nominated Persons and Heads of Functional Areas, so as to achieve continuous conformance with regulatory standards.
- Liaise with all involved and responsible departments in order to prepare all necessary updates, amendments, revisions of CAMO expositions and internal procedures.
You fit, if you cover the following requirements:
- Aeronautical degree or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical) or a valid EASA Part-66 license
- Formal aeronautical maintenance training (Gen Fam as a minimum)
- Have at least five (5) years of experience in continuing airworthiness or ten (10) years in case there is no EASA Part-66 license, or an aeronautical degree or a national equivalent and no formal aeronautical maintenance training
- Experience in CAMO activities including Continuing Airworthiness Tasks in Engineering or Planning
- Experience/Knowledge of EASA Part-145 maintenance activities
- Familiarity with Swiss A.S. AMOS maintenance management software
- Working knowledge of current EASA Regulations
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
And you have competence in:
- Communicating effectively in a structured manner, with all stakeholders
- Demonstrating a positive attitude and a highly collaborative approach
- Managing multiple priorities and time-sensitive tasks effectively, while maintaining focus on deadlines
- Organizing and paying attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in every technical review
- Thinking in an analytical and proactive way, to resolve complex problems
