Overview
The **PM Production Facilitator/Expeditor** is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and expediting the flow of materials and shop orders throughout the manufacturing facility to support production schedules and on-time delivery commitments. This role serves as a key communication link between production departments, supervisors, program management, and suppliers to ensure work progresses efficiently, materials are available, and issues are identified and resolved proactively.

- Monitor, manage, and expedite the flow of materials and shop orders within and between departments to support production schedules.
- Locate, track, and expedite shop orders throughout the facility to ensure timely completion.
- Confer regularly with department supervisors and leads to determine work status, bottlenecks, and projected completion dates.
- Review, distribute, and communicate production, work, and shipment schedules as needed.
- Monitor daily delivery requirements against real-time production status to support on-time delivery performance.
- Proactively review shop orders for completeness, accuracy, and part availability.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and communication across departments.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve material flow and production coordination.
- Crosstrain in various operational functions and serve as back-up support during peak workloads or staffing constraints.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
