VA WORKS is hiring a Mortgage Processor on behalf of a U.S.-based client, for a Processor-level role.
This position requires hands-on experience reviewing and submitting loan conditions to lenders. Candidates without direct condition review experience will not be considered.
You will play a critical role in managing loan files, ensuring all conditions are properly reviewed, structured, and submitted to move loans efficiently toward closing.
Key Responsibilities
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
This position requires hands-on experience reviewing and submitting loan conditions to lenders. Candidates without direct condition review experience will not be considered.
You will play a critical role in managing loan files, ensuring all conditions are properly reviewed, structured, and submitted to move loans efficiently toward closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Review underwriting conditions and identify required documentation
- Analyze borrower documents to ensure conditions are fully satisfied
- Prepare and submit complete condition packages to lenders
- Communicate with Loan Officers, Loan Assistants, and borrowers to obtain missing items
- Track and manage loan files to ensure timely condition clearing
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness of all submitted documentation
- Follow up with lenders on submitted conditions and status updates
- Maintain organized and updated loan files within the LOS
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Processor or Sr. Processor
- Proven experience reviewing and clearing underwriting conditions
- Experience submitting conditions directly to lenders
- Strong understanding of mortgage documentation:
- Income (paystubs, W-2s, tax returns)
- Assets (bank statements)
- Credit reports
- Experience working with U.S. mortgage companies
- Remote – Work From Home
- Business Hours of the Company Mon - Friday 9:00 -6:00 EST
- Paid in USD, competitive based on experience
