Overview

We are seeking a sales professional to drive new customer acquisition for our Digital Services offerings. The role focuses on helping large organisations modernise paper-based or manual processes by adopting digital workflows, document capture, and AI-enabled information management.

Target sectors include manufacturing, defence, healthcare, government, and financial services. The successful candidate will be comfortable visioning complex digital services to C-Level, operational, IT & transformation leaders.

This role will be based from home with regular travel to client sites in the UK and occasional overnight travel. Must be within 2 hour drive to London.

What You Will Do

  • Drive new business development and acquire new enterprise customers
  • Identify and develop opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
  • Lead consultative sales engagements to uncover operational challenges
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops to define digital solutions
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape proposals and solutions

What You Need To Succeed

  • Enterprise New Business Sales Experience: Proven ability to win new logos in large organisations. The candidate must be comfortable prospecting, opening, creating opportunities and closing deals.
  • Consultative Selling Capability: Ability to diagnose operational problems (paperwork, manual processes, compliance workflows) and translate them into digital transformation opportunities.
  • Experience Selling Services or Solutions: Track record selling complex solutions rather than simple products—ideally managed services, digital transformation, SaaS, workflow automation, or document management.
  • Credibility with Senior Stakeholders: Confidence engaging CIOs, operations leaders, digital transformation teams, and business unit heads in sectors with regulated or complex environments.
  • Sector Awareness: Understanding of at least one target sector such as manufacturing, defence, healthcare, financial services, or government, including awareness of regulatory or operational pressures.
  • Value-Based Sales Skills: Ability to build a commercial business case—demonstrating productivity improvements, cost reduction, compliance improvements, and operational resilience.
  • Strong Discovery & Workshop Skills: Comfortable enabling discovery meetings or problem-finding workshops with customers to identify document-heavy processes suitable for digitisation.
  • Pipeline Creation & Territory Development: Self-starter capable of building a structured pipeline through networking, outreach, partnerships, and events.
  • Collaboration with Technical & Delivery Teams: Able to work closely with solution architects, consultants, and operational teams to shape solutions and proposals.
  • Curiosity About AI and Digital Transformation: Interest in emerging technologies such as automation, AI, and intelligent document processing, and the ability to explain these in practical business terms.Experience selling document management, workflow automation, BPO, or digitisation services
  • Background in technology consulting or managed digital services
  • Familiarity with longer enterprise sales cycles (3–12 months)
