We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on production planning, coordination, and driving process improvements - taking ownership of how production operatesand evolves, while gaining product understanding through hands-on assembly.
You will be responsible for translating demand into structured production plans, ensuring material readiness, and aligning execution across manufacturing. As you build understanding of our products through hands-on work, your focus will gradually shift toward improving production performance, driving efficiency, and supporting the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
This role is best suited for someone who combines a practical, hands-on mindset with strong planning skills, and who is motivated to improve how things work while delivering results in a fast-evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Coordination
- Translate demand forecasts into structured production plans, including raw material ordering, assembly scheduling, and QC coordination
- Ensure alignment between material availability and production needs, proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks
- Maintain and update ERP (Business Central) data, including BOMs, routings, and production-related information
Execution & Quality
- Assembly of devices and preparation of submodules ensuring their quality according to technical documentation
- Ensure quality and consistency of assembled products
- Complete technical documentation accurately and on time
Performance & Improvement
- Track and develop production KPIs (e.g., on-time production, plan vs actual, material availability, process efficiency)
- Lead and support process improvements, initiatives, such as warehouse optimization, workflow improvements, RM changes
- Proactively communicate risks, delays, and issues before they impact production
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in production or device manufacturing (mechanical, electrical, optical, or similar)
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and take initiative to improve processes
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing and evolving start-up environment where structure is still being built
- Strong communication skills in English.
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with the Business Central ERP system
- Experience with SolidWorks (part design and assembly modeling).
