We are currently strengthening our service-team and looking for a highly-motivated customer-oriented person, with excellent problem-solving skills.
As Field Service Engineer, you will responsible to provide on-site service including preventative maintenance, calibration, installation and customer training across all our Characterization product lines.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to customers via on-site, telephone and email.
- Performing on-site troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair.
- Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required).
- Provide on-site training to the customers
- Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module as to log all Support Ticket and Service Orders in the CRM Service.
- Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
- Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.
- This position requires up to 70% travelling time.
- Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are a must for this position.
- Direct experience in the analytical instruments field is a plus.
- This position requires a highly motivated individual that is capable of completing assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
- This position requires minimum Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or another technical discipline.
- The ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment’s, and tools for repairs is required.
- Preferred candidates will have at least two to three years’ experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining analytical instruments.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
