Japanese native level Linguists with expertise in e-commerce content. This role is for you!

General Requirements:

• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of e-commerce, legal and digital marketing.
• Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in using translation tools, understanding of website and eLearning platform terminologies, and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues during the translation process.
• Professional Alignment: All translators, editors, and reviewers must have extensive experience in the localization industry. They should be native level speakers of the target language and ideally reside in the target language country to ensure up-to-date linguistic and cultural comprehension. Preferably, they should have education in translation, linguistics, or interpreting, or at least four years of industry experience. They should be willing to conduct thorough research to ensure translations are accurate and of the highest quality, catering to the client’s audience.
• CAT Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with Smartling is preferred.
• Content Familiarity: Previous experience translating marketing content (emails, landing pages, websites, promotional material) in e-commerce and highly creative marketing materials. Previous experience translating UI content for apps and software in e-commerce, with an understanding of tags and placeholders, ICU syntax, and CTAs.
