Job Description
Changemaker Companies is Ashoka's corporate advisory arm that brings over 45 years of social innovation expertise into the business sector. Through collaboration with the world’s largest network of social entrepreneurs and changemakers, we work with leading companies to accelerate the transition to a more inclusive, regenerative economy. This entails embedding impact at the core of business strategy, rather than as an add on. We do this by partnering with companies and their employees to activate a culture of changemaking, so that more people have the mindsets, skills, and tools to create and lead positive change.
Ashoka is seeking a motivated intern to support the Changemaker Companies on a range of different projects:
Estimated hours required per week: 25
The estimated duration of the project is: 3-6 months
This position is Virtual (Remote)
Language Requirements
English
Desired Skills And Experience
Background in Economics, Business, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields.
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages such as Spanish or French are a plus).
Research experience
A strong interest in social entrepreneurship and the social impact space.
Ability to work independently with strong organizational and intercultural competence.

Ashoka is seeking a motivated intern to support the Changemaker Companies on a range of different projects:
- Social Return on Investment (SROI) Modeling: Apply a methodology provided by a pro bono consultancy to calculate the SROI of 1 or 2 Ashoka Fellows. Directly work with Ashoka Fellows and liaise with global Ashoka colleagues to gather data on costs, outputs, and outcomes.
- Support of the Business Development Team: Research potential partner companies, identify Ashoka Fellows (by using our internal AI tool) whose work align with these companies, assist with market trends analysis and business intelligence.
- Support partnership work: Search Ashoka Fellows working in education from 7 countries (through our internal AI tool and by interacting with local Ashoka offices). Following the criteria defined with the partner, build strong profiles on ppt to be presented to the partner.
- Support on the insurance work: Advance our research of Ashoka Fellows working in this industry and build opportunities to engage them. Support with special projects in this industry, including launching a community of practice and identifying key partners.
