Your responsibilities
- Perform feasibility studies and E2E solution design based on requirements from internal or external customers including coordinating the group of system experts contributing to the work
- Create E2E concepts for various topics covering E2E Architecture, Design, and interface descriptions across telco domains: IP/MPLS/SD‑WAN/SASE; 4G/5G Core, IMS/VoLTE/VoNR; transport, OSS
- Assure Security, Compliance & Data Protection by Design- embed security controls and privacy requirements in solution baselines; coordinate with Security Unit and Data Protection Unit for reviews and sign‑offs as per organizational rules
- Apply Automation, CI/CD & Operability- specify infrastructure‑as‑code, configuration automation, and observability (metrics/logs/traces) in the design
- Drive/participate in design reviews; approve vendor/partner designs and manage deviations against standards; own the risk register and technical debt log through delivery
- Participate in technical and commercial negotiations with Vendors and Partners
- Define acceptance & exit criteria; ensure documentation packs (HLD/LLD, SOPs, runbooks, monitoring, support model) are complete for Build/Run; drive first‑90‑day stabilization
- Present to stakeholders and get buy-in from them for proposed solution and way forward
- Be interface towards business units
Our requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in telco network design or architecture or hands-on network/ system engineer roles
- Proven track record in multi‑domain mobile projects
- cross-country and multicultural collaboration
- Deep knowledge of mobile network architecture (RAN, Core, Transport) and evolution to 6G
- Knowledge of Mobile Core & Voice: EPC/5GC (AMF/SMF/UPF/PCF), SDM, IMS/VoLTE/VoNR, SBC, Diameter (PCRF/PCF), SIP
- Intermediate knowledge on networking: L2/L3 (BGP/OSPF/EVPN/VXLAN, QoS), SD‑WAN, SASE/Zero‑Trust; edge load‑balancing/DNS
- OSS/BSS integration principles, TM Forum standards nice to have
- Cloud & virtualization (NFV, Kubernetes, Public Cloud), automation (CI/CD, pipelining, selected automation frameworks, scripting), security by design
- System and domain overarching (E2E) thinking
- Ability to own and drive topics independently
- Strong documentation ability (HLD/LLD) and communication (presentation skills, ability to abstract concept, negotiations and persuasion skills)
- Product oriented thinking, business and financial accummenity will be an asset
