We provide emergency medical assistance during armed conflict, natural disasters, outbreaks of deadly diseases and assist those who are excluded from healthcare. MSF delivers care based on need and when we see injustice, we speak out. We are an organization that remains impartial, knowledgeable, and effective, and this is what makes the difference between life and death.

People are our priority. At Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)/ Artsen zonder Grenzen, we are committed to an inclusive culture that encourages and supports the diverse voices of our employees. We encourage diverse applicants including individuals of all gender identities, ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, races, religions, beliefs, social and marital status, people with different abilities and all other diversity abilities.

We are looking for a visionary and strategic leader to fill the new role of Director of Information, Technology and Data. • Digital Transformation: Lead major investment and change projects across the organization, driving cultural change towards data-informed decision-making and improving digital literacy.
  • Governance & Security: Establish a comprehensive policy framework, including robust data governance, cybersecurity measures, and disaster recovery plans to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead and develop a diverse team, including a Head of Department, two coordinators, and an Information Security Expert, fostering engagement, well-being, and a safe working environment. You take a leading role in building your team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key contributor to organizational decision-making as a member of MSF’s Information and Systems Management platform, forging strategic partnerships within the MSF movement and with external actors to amplify interoperable technical capabilities.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, and data platforms to ensure system reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness for the entire organization.

You are a strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans, an inspiring leader who can develop teams and manage performance in a multicultural environment. About the company

Company websiteNon-profit Organizations

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) aims to help people who are in need and desperately need medical aid, but do not receive it. Irrespective of their race, political conviction or religion.

We aim to make a difference by intervening in situations that we find unacceptable. For instance, when people are receiving no aid or when their lives are threatened by disease.

By taking action, we make a difference. We do this by offering medical aid, but also by appealing to governments, agencies, other organisations or key people and calling on them to take action. So that people who are being treated unjustly can receive aid.

We ourselves determine to whom, how and where we provide aid. Our entire organisation is devoted to providing this aid: independently, in person and on location.
