About the W2W Academy team

You will join the Walk to Work (W2W) Academy team, an international team of 7 office staff working closely with trainers and operational colleagues. The team organises standardised training programs, coordinates certification requirements and helps clients prepare their people for safe operations. Your stakeholders include clients, trainers, crewing, crew change, finance and internal Academy colleagues. The team wants to keep improving how training is organised, while offering clients a smooth and practical experience from start to finish.


Your role as (Jr.) Offshore Training Coordinator

As (Jr.) Offshore Training Coordinator you prepare, plan, organize and continuously improve training programs for both internal and external clients. You're the strategic link in a complex puzzle by managing trainers, trainees, facilities, schedules and aligning stakeholders across multiple locations. Beyond the logistics, you'll administer key ERP systems, handle client invoicing, and advise clients on suitable training solutions and recommended modules. This helps them build safer, more competent teams while unlocking the full value of our academy's offering. Your direct involvement with training delivery means you'll learn offshore operations firsthand, ensure our academy standards are met, and see your work translate directly into safer personnel and a thriving training practice.


Regular Activities

  • Plan and organize W2W Academy training programs for 400+ personnel (internal and external clients) by coordinating trainers, facilities, candidates, course material and complex stakeholder timelines.
  • Execute and support training delivery by being present during programs, when possible, monitor quality and progress, and provide trainers with feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Advise internal and external clients on the right training solutions, put together tailored proposals, and spot opportunities to offer related product suggestions.
  • Manage W2W Academy systems by administrating ERP, LMS platform, invoicing and certifications to ensure compliance.
  • Forecast resources and align stakeholders by coordinating trainer and facility availability, manage timelines, and prevent planning conflicts across the 3–6-month planning horizon.


We ask

  • HBO or Masters education with background in safety, offshore, education, logistics, or learning & development
  • 0–5 years of relevant work experience in planning, stakeholder management, safety (HSE) and offshore industry
  • Affinity with maritime industry, training coordination or another operational environment with transferable skills is a plus
  • Experience with ERP & LMS systems (Plusport and Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus
  • Excellent English language skills required; Dutch language is a strong plus
