Media & Communication Wing
Graphic Designer
1.1. Number of Posts
One
1.2. Minimum Qualification
Graduate with any discipline with Degree/Diploma in graphic designing
1.3. Minimum Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in design work related to media, communication and publications including brochures and AVs etc.
1.4. Salary
Rs. 37,950/- per month (with an annual increment of 10%, subject to satisfactory performance)
1.5. Job Description
Graphic designer will be responsible to create visual content to communicate ideas and messages including images, typography, and layout to design for various mediums, including print and digital. Graphic designers will be required to work on logos, websites, brochures, and advertisements and other design needs of various centres and schools of IIIDEM.
1.6. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Of The Job Include The Following:
i) Visual Content Design – Design creatives for media platforms, ad banners, brochures, flyers, posters, and branding materials, develop visuals for events, press conferences and maintain consistent brand aesthetics across all digital and print formats.
ii) Video Editing & Motion Graphics – Edit high-quality video content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, product explainer videos, and testimonials
iii) Website & Social Media Content – Support graphic content for website and social media platforms for IIIDEM using modern tools and styles.
iv) Creative Development & Brand Consistency – Support quality content creation while adhering to project/ task deadlines, developed templates and visual guides for consistent usage.
v) Image Editing & Photography – Maintain consistent brand aesthetics across all digital and print mediums.
1.7. Skills and Competencies
i) Skills in software like adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and acrobat) and canvas.
ii) Skills in Storyboard and impactful design in relation to the message or content
iii) Skills in Graphic Design (Posters, Infographics, Social Media Creatives)
iv) Skills in designing graphics for Digital Media, Visual Design, and Communication, Website Updates, Social Media Content Design
1.8. Desirable
i) Experience in Digital Media, Visual Design and Communication
ii) Experience in supporting design for various platforms, open-source design and multimedia tools, and working within government digital infrastructure.
iii) Ability to create content in multiple Indian languages
