Aero-Graphics is a small business leader in geospatial solutions delivering top-tier surveying, mapping, and spatial data acquisition and analysis services.
The part-time Aviation Line Assistant is responsible for assisting in the cleaning, maintenance, and assisting in repairing aircraft. They work under the supervision of a licensed Aircraft Mechanic and perform a variety of tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.
Responsibilities:
What you'll Do
- Keep hangar facilities clean, organized, and safe by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash
- Clean, wash and prepare aircraft after missions and maintenance
- Assist with tools, equipment, and supply organization
- Support AMTs with basic maintenance tasks and inspections including removal and installation of panels, and repairs
- Operate ground equipment such as tugs and forklifts (we’ll train you!)
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, twisting, and standing for extended periods of time
- Working in small, confined spaces
- Strong work ethic and strong attention to detail especially related to safety and aircraft handling
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
- This job requires the performance of essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Pay range $18–$20/hr. depending on experience
- Schedule Part-time Monday–Friday afternoons 1:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
