  • Set up and run threading machines to cut threads according to job specifications.
  • Operate dies, taps, or cutting tools depending on the type of threading (internal or external).
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure accurate thread production.

  • Follow threading standards such as UNC, UNF, or custom specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools (e.g., thread gauges, micrometers, calipers, pitch gauges, tape measure) to check thread quality.
  • Ensure threads are free of burrs, defects, or dimensional inaccuracies.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections and record results.
  • Install and adjust tools and dies for threading operations.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines (e.g., lubrication, cleaning, changing worn tools).
  • Troubleshoot minor issues like poor thread finish, machine vibration, or tool wear.
  • Load raw materials (nuts, rods, bolts) into machines and unload finished parts.
  • Label, bundle, or sort threaded parts for the next stage in production or shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance policies.

About the company

Company websiteTurned Products and Fastener Manufacturing

AmeriBolt was created in 2005 to provide better service to fastener distributors in the Southeast and Gulf Coast states. Since then, we have expanded five times and are now are working with fastener distributors in all 50 United States states, Canada, and Mexico. Our products are exported to the Caribbean as well as Central and South America.

Initially, our focus was on all-thread studs, and while we offer virtually all materials, sizes, and finishes, most of our business involves alloy steel, stainless steel and the associated hardware (hex nuts, flat washers, lock washers). We have added multiple categories of heavy-hex bolts and cap screws including: ASTM A193 B7, A193 B8, A193 B8M, A193 B16, A320 L7, A193 B8 Class 2, A193 B8M Class 2, A307B, A325, A490, A354BD (Grade 8), Hasteloy and Alloy 20 among others.

In 2012, we moved to our present location and opened our Forging Department while expanding our production and fabrication facilities. We are now hot-forging heavy hex nuts to meet ASTM A563, ASTM A194 2H, A194 Grade 7, A194 Grade 4, A194 Grade 8, A194 Grade 8M, plus square nuts, and heavy hex bolts in a variety of materials including: ASTM A193 B7, A193 B16, A320 L7, A193 B8, A193 B8M plus A193 B8 Class 2 and A193 B8M Class 2.

In 2010, our Quality Program was certified ISO 9001: 2008. Our products have been supplied to oil and gas facilities, large oil refineries, nuclear power plants, and major U.S. construction projects. We can meet your customer’s requirements for 100% domestic, as well as requests for “no China,” DFARS or other material requirements and specifications.

AmeriBolt was built on speed and service, and while we have significantly upgraded our capacity and our capabilities – our commitment to superior customer service from quotation to delivery remains the foundation of our business. Please call us today and let us show you the AmeriBolt difference: speed, quality and fast service.
