Job Responsibilities
- Carry out water sampling (drinking water, wastewater, groundwater, process water, etc.) in accordance with approved sampling procedures, standards, and SOPs.
- Support environmental site monitoring activities
- Ensure proper sample collection, preservation, labeling, and transportation to the laboratory while maintaining sample integrity.
- Operate, handle, and maintain sampling equipment and field instruments.
- Perform driving duties for field activities, including transportation of personnel, equipment, and samples to and from client sites.
- Assist senior staff during field measurements, site surveys, and monitoring campaigns.
- Maintain field records, log sheets, chain-of-custody forms, and sampling documentation.
- Support routine housekeeping, equipment care, and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Department Head related to chemistry and environmental monitoring.
Qualification Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Chemistry or Environmental studies
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Water sampling, Environmental field monitoring, Laboratory or field support activities
- Fresh candidates with relevant education and basic field exposure may also be considered.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driving license (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel and work at various field locations.
- Flexible to work extended hours when required for site monitoring activities.
