U.S. Lumber, an SBP brand is currently hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor in our Indianapolis, IN branch.


Role Overview

  • Position: Warehouse Supervisor
  • Location: Indianapolis, IN (On-site)
  • Company: U.S. Lumber (an SBP brand)
  • Purpose: Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment & Workflow: Distribute pick files, monitor associate productivity, manage order flow, and ensure timely, accurate order completion.
  • Loading & Shipping: Print truck orders, supervise loading, and conduct final accuracy checks on products and paperwork.
  • Receiving & Inventory: Oversee freight unloading, inventory receiving, documentation, labeling, cycle counts, and RMAs (returns).
  • Supervision & Support: Assist warehouse associates as needed and resolve tickets in the Agility system.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Enforce safety policies, address violations, report accidents, and oversee forklift inspections and maintenance.
  • Housekeeping & Quality: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and handle damaged materials appropriately.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 4 years of related experience; forklift skills with certification.
  • Education: High school diploma; basic math and analytical skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Process-oriented, detail-focused, adaptable, able to multitask, and effective working independently or with a team.
  • Other: Must be 18+, flexible with scheduling, and able to meet physical job demands.
