This role of Junior Estimator will be provided with on the job training from scratch and will work on a varied range of projects from LV/HV connections, to full onsite builds and installations. More About The Role
- Working with the Estimator & Senior Electrical Estimator to support on the delivery on high-quality estimates and tenders.-
- Evaluation of tender enquiry documentation received from clients and ensure all relevant/correct information has been provided.
- Reviewing tender information received and outlining scope in order for the scheme to be accurately tendered.
- Maintain good working relationships with existing clients as well as developing new relationships.
- Attending Pre-Construction meetings with Operations & Project Management team when bids are successful and PO's issued.
- Requesting asset values from our IDNO partners in relation to the scope of the project.
- Measuring designs using either PDF or google maps to ensuring accurate take offs are recorded.
- Ensuring internal tendering trackers are kept up to date.
- Check client feedback from tenders that are on-going and completed.
- Set up new projects on our Sharepoint.
