Project Manager & Field Service Engineer

The candidate will support the rapid deployment and operational excellence of company’s fast and ultra-fast charging network in Switzerland. He/she will contribute to the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects: from development and coordination, to on-site commissioning and troubleshooting. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you ensure high-quality installations and reliable station operations.

He/She will be in charge of the rollout of new charging stations, ensuring compliance with timelines, quality, and budget. He/She will support optimal performance of operational sites, maximize uptime, and enhance customer satisfaction. By improving processes, ensuring robust technical operations, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, he/she will contribute directly to the scalability and efficiency of company Switzerland’s infrastructure development.

Core Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in managing one or more infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Coordinate internal departments to ensure timely execution of project tasks.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Assist in procurement processes, including supplier selection and contract definition.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare project closure reports to capture lessons learned and improve future performance.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety requirements and support site safety planning.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable, digital project management processes.
  • Update and monitor project data on digital platforms.

Field Service Engineering:

  • Perform and/or supervise commissioning of EV charging stations, including on-site testing and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate installation and maintenance contractors, ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee a portfolio of operational stations, monitoring performance both remotely and on-site.
  • Manage logistics and delivery of spare parts and materials to operational sites.
  • Support the Operations Manager in planning and executing maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical feedback to design and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
  • Draft performance reports using digital tools and track key operational KPIs.
  • Promote a culture of cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar).
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, infrastructure, technical fieldwork, or operations.
  • Interest in e-mobility, energy infrastructure, or technical project management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Hands-on mindset, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work both on-site and remotely.
  • Availability for travel and site visits across Switzerland.
  • Fluency in English and German and/or French; Italian is a plus.
