Job Summary
Own and execute the E2E operations procurement cycle for data centre sites in Dublin, ensuring compliant, timely, and cost-effective sourcing of services, materials, and critical spares that support uptime, safety, and lifecycle performance of MEP infrastructure.

Own and execute the E2E operations procurement cycle for data centre sites in Dublin, ensuring compliant, timely, and cost-effective sourcing of services, materials, and critical spares that support uptime, safety, and lifecycle performance of MEP infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Execution & Compliance
- Lead competitive sourcing, tender evaluation, and recommendations through to contract award and handover.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal procurement policies, approval limits, audit trails, and segregation of duties.
- Review and validate supplier invoices, variations, and claims against contract terms, SLAs, and site acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring completion of vetting (financial, HSE, ESG, cybersecurity as applicable).
- Contract & Supplier Management
- Liaise with internal legal team and administer preventive maintenance service agreements and O&M contracts; monitor SLAs/OLAs, penalties, and renewals.
- Maintain an Approved Vendor List with performance ratings, escalations, and corrective action tracking.
- Facilitate supplier reviews and post-incident debriefs; drive continuous improvement actions.
- Cost, Budgeting & Lifecycle
- Support annual Opex budgeting with robust baselines and assumptions; track actuals vs. plan and forecast run-rate.
- Maintain an operations cost database (materials, labour, spares, contracted services) to enable benchmarking across sites.
- Build and maintain lifecycle cost (Post Handover) models for key data centre assets (UPS, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, liquid cooling plant).
- Identify cost reduction opportunities
- Critical Spares & Inventory Control
- Execute purchase and replenishment (“top-up/refill”) orders; reconcile receipts, usage, and stock variances.
- Refresh Works (MEP)
- Run compliant sourcing for MEP refresh/refit projects: market engagement, tender, evaluation, negotiation, award, and close-out.
- Align scope, technical specs, method statements, and commissioning criteria with Technical and Operation Team
- Manage commercial change control, instructions, and final account
- Data, Reporting & Governance
- Publish monthly dashboards: spend by category/site, savings/avoidance, supplier performance, claims status, inventory KPIs.
- Safekeep contracts, drawings, performance bonds, insurance certificates, warranties, and final accounts (auditable repository).
- Drive process improvement (lead times, first-time-right PO/GR, automation, template standardization).
- Primarily office-based with regular collaboration across departments and regions.
- Occasional travel to active construction and operational data center sites for inspections, meetings, and contract assessments.
- The role may involve working in high-security environments and exposure to technical equipment areas where safety protocols must be strictly followed.
- 1 to 3 years experience in procurement or contract administration; data centres or heavy MEP Infra preferred.
- Solid understanding of engineering procurement, O&M contracts, and vendor qualification.
- Working knowledge of data centre operations (Preferably a level of understanding on MEP systems)
- Diploma in Building Services/Facilities/Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel advanced: lookups/pivots)
- Strong written and spoken English; additional European language an advantage.
- Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and able to work independently to tight timelines.
