The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease.

Volunteers Needed for the Central CT Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Rockwell Park (Bristol, CT)!

Each year, more than 800 Central Connecticut community members come together for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s—a meaningful day of hope, remembrance, and connection. The event includes our signature Promise Garden Ceremony, followed by a 1.5 mile Walk, and opportunities to learn about local care, support, and educational resources.

We are seeking walk‑day volunteers to assist with registration, route support, set‑up and breakdown, and participant engagement. Volunteers are essential to creating a welcoming, impactful experience. Join us and help make a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
