Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities):

  • Infrastructure IAM : Azure Entra, Microsoft AD, Enterprise Access Model, GPO, Intune, PKI, RBAC

Hybrid : Must be able to work 60% minimum in office

Travel : Must be willing to travel to site as required (Sale - Vic, Gippsland (Longford Gas Plant) , Long Island Point). May be required to travel to India, Perth/Melbourne

General Scope

  • This role is an Operational & Engineering role. - Operations will be a large part of the role, but there may be requirements to perform engineering work also.
  • Must have hands-on technical experience. Ideally having technical depth in multiple areas.
  • Must be able to perform operational support end-to-end : triage, assess, identify root causes of issues, develop a remediation plan and configuration, execute the change, test, document.
  • Operational experience in a large enterprise.
  • Provide operational support following ITIL best practice processes as well as Woodside's processes
  • Receive Knowledge Transfer post project handover.
  • Ensure technical understanding of systems, technology, implementation.
  • Perform day to day operations, monitoring, maintenance, incident response, service request fulfillment, problem management and root cause analysis.
  • Perform continuous improvement activities
  • Able to stabilize new operational environments
  • Able to synthesize and procedurise operational processes into repeatable, modular, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Runbooks.
  • Able to train junior or lesser experience team members
  • Clear excellent communicator
  • Develop quality documentation, runbooks, procedures, processes
  • Develop systems, automation, processes that multiplies efficiencies in operational processes
  • Develop and/or implement tools that are supportable, maintainable, sustainable that help simplify, automate monitoring, alerting, maintenance of systems within supported services.
  • Be available to respond to Major Incidents
  • Develop Change Plans and implement quality changes with defined and robust implementation and rollback plans
  • Improve technical and procedural documentation
  • Proactive in driving improvement
  • Must have ServiceNOW experience
  • Must understand Incident Management, Service Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Major Incident Management within a large enterprise context
  • Energy or Resource experience preferred - Not mandatory
  • This role has aspects of an operational role, must be able to function and think under pressure. Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with technical stakeholders across different disciplines.
  • This role is operational in nature, must be willing to accept certain level of on-call work after hours or at ad-hoc on demand time depending on business needs. (Be willing to be contactable after hours)
  • This role may require engineering - Design, Configuration, Implementation work.
