Tech Lead

Nabeeh (https://nabeehapp.com) is building a complete digital ecosystem for real estate operations and maintenance services. We’re looking for a Tech Lead who can drive execution, raise engineering standards, and help the team ship reliably as the product scales.

What you’ll do:

• Own delivery outcomes: turn product requirements into clear technical plans, break work into milestones, and ensure features reach production on time and with quality.
• Lead engineering standards: set and enforce practical standards for code quality, architecture consistency, testing, and documentation.
• Unblock the team: identify bottlenecks early (review queues, unclear requirements, fragile areas, missing ownership) and remove them fast.
• Run an effective code review system: ensure reviews are timely and meaningful, establish what “acceptable” looks like, and coach through feedback.
• Make strong technical decisions: balance speed vs quality, avoid unnecessary complexity, and keep the system maintainable.
• Improve reliability: reduce production incidents through better observability, safe release practices, and systematic root-cause fixes.
• Mentor and level-up engineers: help the team improve through pairing, structured feedback, and lightweight training.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: work closely with product and design to align scope, clarify edge cases, and prevent rework.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a Tech Lead / Engineering Lead role in a product environment (preferably startup or fast-paced scaling teams).
• Strong backend engineering experience and ability to deliver hands-on when needed.
• Clear communication, high ownership, and good judgment under constraints.
• Demonstrated impact: improved delivery velocity, code quality, team effectiveness, or system reliability.

Tech stack:

We use a modern PHP/Laravel ecosystem with a modular architecture and a web + mobile product:

• Backend: PHP, Laravel (modular), REST APIs, queues/caching, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Frontend (web): Laravel Blade with Bootstrap/Tabler UI, JavaScript (jQuery/Alpine), plus Vue for some dynamic components.
• Mobile: Flutter apps (customer + service provider).
• DevOps & observability: GitHub, Cloud hosting, CDN/WAF, error tracking and debugging tools.

(We don’t expect you to have every item, but you should be confident leading and delivering within this type of stack.)

Contract Duration:

• Fixed-term contract featuring an initial 3-month probation period, which may be extended to 6 months based on performance and evaluation.

Location:

• Remote, our teams are located in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, and Palestine.
