You will join a young, dynamic and international environment, where your role will consist on the development of the activities associated with the production process, with a commitment to the environment and the safety of people and facilities. We are looking for a person whose mission is the development of our Supply and Origination Business, (Electricity, Gas, sale of PPAs linked to supply and sale of GdOs), with large energy consumers as end customer and producers, being responsible for all commercial management.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Attracting new customers for electricity and gas supply, as well as generating opportunities in PPAs.
- Identify and develop opportunities in the Iberian energy market with cogeneration power plants producers and potential PPA buyers, creating a good external and internal customer base and expanding the existing customer and counterpart base.
- Integral management of assigned customers according to commercial organization.
- Interaction with other internal Business Areas in Alpiq Group, essential for the development and management of supply contracts and collaboration agreements.
- Leading the development of the Business Case in collaboration with internal stakeholders (SEM, Credit Risk, Risk Management, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations and IT) and fostering the network of commercial relationships in Spain and Portugal.
- Generation of opportunities for GoO sales to monetize the Origination Business GoO portfolio in cooperation with SEM and the Upstream Origination team.
- Reporting on commercial activity.
- Contribute to the development of procedures and systems for the improvement of the Marketing Business.
- Collaborate on internal projects related to the Sales & Origination business.
- At least 5 years of experience in similar functions.
- Experience and good knowledge of energy markets: electricity, gas and origination. Experience in Supply Market in Portugal is a nice to have.
- Demonstrable network with clients in the energy sector with focus on large consumers.
- Knowledge of PPA structuring models and sales
- Good communication and negotiation and analytical skills
- Team player with willingness to learn
