About the Role:


The Specialist, Assets Recovery plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the recovery of company assets that have been lost, misplaced, or are underperforming. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify, locate, and recover assets efficiently while minimizing financial losses. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams such as finance, legal, and operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Specialist will analyze asset recovery data to provide actionable insights and improve recovery processes continuously. Ultimately, this position ensures that the organization maximizes asset value and mitigates risks associated with asset loss or mismanagement.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset recovery, asset management, or a related financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of asset recovery processes, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and asset tracking software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Professional certification such as Certified Asset Recovery Specialist (CARS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
  • Experience working with legal teams on asset recovery and dispute resolution.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the industry relevant to the company’s operations (e.g., manufacturing, finance, technology).

Responsibilities:



  • Identify and track assets eligible for recovery through detailed audits and data analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate the recovery process.
  • Develop and implement asset recovery strategies that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of recovered assets and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Monitor recovery performance metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

The Specialist will use analytical skills daily to assess asset data and identify recovery opportunities, ensuring that all actions comply with legal and regulatory standards. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for coordinating with internal teams and external partners to facilitate asset recovery efficiently. Proficiency in asset tracking and financial software enables accurate monitoring and reporting of recovery activities. Problem-solving skills help the Specialist address challenges and optimize recovery strategies continuously. Additionally, project management skills are applied to handle multiple recovery initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
