What You’ll Do
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient accounts payable operations while supporting both internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing a high volume of vendor invoices using an electronic approval system
- Managing daily invoice batching into accounting software
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment processing in line with weekly schedules
- Maintaining accounts payable records, including wire and auto-debit updates
- Reviewing vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining vendor documentation (W-9s, insurance certificates, etc.)
- Providing responsive, professional support to vendors and internal stakeholders
- Generating and analyzing reports throughout the month
- Supporting month-end close processes and general ledger accuracy
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Assisting with year-end reporting, including 1099 and 1096 preparation
- Managing recurring invoices and making necessary adjustments
- Collaborating across departments to support operational and financial goals
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in accounting (or currently pursuing)
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Yardi is a plus
