We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead HR operations in a mission-driven behavioral healthcare organization. This role partners with executive leadership to support a strong, compliant, and engaged workforce dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention, especially for clinical roles
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll processes
- Support staff training, credentialing, and licensure requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or Human Services-related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership
- Experience in nonprofit and/or behavioral healthcare preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred
