We’re now hiring a Strategic Key Account Manager—a high-impact role responsible for owning, growing, and strengthening our most strategically important enterprise accounts across Europe. This is a hybrid role that can be based in the regional markets where our customers are based (DACH).
About The Role
This role combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and executive-level relationship management. You will be responsible for developing and executing tailored account strategies that maximize customer value, deepen long-term partnerships, and drive revenue growth across complex logistics organizations.
Strategy & Account Planning
- Build multi-year account plans with clear growth trajectories, cross-selling opportunities, and expansion milestones.
- Develop market- and customer-specific strategies that align with account maturity, industry dynamics, and customer roadmaps.
- Analyze customer business models, logistics processes, and organizational drivers to identify areas where Alpega creates quantifiable impact.
- Assess opportunities to expand solution usage across different regions, business units, and workflows.
- Act as the primary trusted advisor for senior and C-level stakeholders within each account.
- Lead the full commercial cycle—from opportunity identification to value articulation, proposal development, negotiations, and Closed won.
- Conduct ROI and CQBRs to demonstrate the value of Alpega’s SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Customer Success to deliver impactful product demonstrations and solution positioning.
- Collaborate with Product and Pre-Sales to shape solution fit and roadmap alignment for enterprise clients.
- Work with Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless onboarding, adoption, and long-term retention of solutions.
- Act as the voice of the customer to internal teams—informing product improvements, service enhancements, and long-term strategic planning.
- Manage a performance-driven mindset by building pipeline, forecasting, prioritizing, and actively driving all open opportunities towards committed success.
- Navigate complex enterprise setups where data or stakeholder engagement may be fragmented, making pragmatic decisions to move opportunities forward.
- Evaluate account performance on a recurring basis and define actions that drive continuous improvement and revenue growth.
- Local language skills of assigned region (e.g German; English is our internal business language)
- Additional EU languages are an advantage.
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS enterprise sales or account management.
- Proven ability to build and nurture long-lasting relationships.
- Confident operating in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
