Job Description

Role Purpose

The Animator is responsible for creating high-quality animated and motion graphic content across multiple platforms, including digital, social, film, and integrated campaigns. The role requires strong technical animation skills, a solid understanding of storytelling, and the ability to collaborate closely with creative, design, copy, and production teams to deliver visually compelling work aligned to brand and campaign objectives.

Job Requirements

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Animation, Motion Design, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in an animation or motion graphics role (level dependent).
• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating animation and motion design capability.
• Agency or production environment experience is advantageous.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, and produce 2D and/or 3D animations and motion graphics for client campaigns and internal projects.
• Translate creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards into engaging animated content.
• Execute animations across multiple formats, including social media, digital platforms, video, broadcast, and presentations.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Producers to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
• Apply brand guidelines accurately while pushing creative boundaries where appropriate.
• Edit and refine animation work based on internal and client feedback.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Stay up to date with animation trends, tools, software, and emerging technologies.
• Prepare final files for delivery, ensuring correct formats, specs, and quality control.
• Contribute positively to team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and collaborating effectively.
