Software Developer (Game Logic and Simulation)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer with at least 2 years of experience working on game logic development and large-scale simulations for validating game mathematics. In this role, you will collaborate closely with game mathematicians and backend engineers to implement mathematical models, run high-volume simulations, and ensure accurate integration of game logic into production systems.

The ideal candidate has strong programming fundamentals, a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, probability, and statistical modelling, and an interest in building fair, mathematically sound, and engaging gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Game Logic Development

• Design and implement core game logic based on mathematical models and game design specifications.
• Translate mathematical formulas and probability models into efficient, production-ready code.
• Technical Implementation
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate game logic and mathematical models into the production environment.
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of implemented algorithms.

Simulation & Analysis

• Develop and run large-scale simulations (millions of iterations) to validate game mathematics.
• Analyze simulation outputs to verify Return to Player (RTP), volatility, and feature performance across different gameplay scenarios.

Mathematical Review

• Work closely with game mathematicians to review and validate game math files.
• Verify equations, algorithms, probability distributions, and statistical assumptions to ensure correctness.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
• Experience or academic exposure to mathematical modelling, probability, and statistics related to game logic or simulations.
• Ability to analyze large simulation datasets and validate mathematical outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with mathematicians and backend teams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to building fair and engaging gaming systems.
