Field Service Engineer

You are...... a logical thinker skilled in troubleshooting, enthusiastic about working with complex technologies, and a professional, committed to customer satisfaction.As a Field Service Representative and key member of the South Region service team, you provide on-site service including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines primarily in in LA, MI, AL and East TX. You will report to the South Region Field Service Manager in Houston, TX. Your location is ideally near New Orleans, LA, but other major cities in the territory are possible. The base salary range for this position is $30.80 - $34.85 per hour and depends on technical and service experience within the analytical instrumentation field. Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include:

• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within the assigned region.
• Managing inventory, trip planning, and administrative tasks related to service functions.
  
  

Your profile:

Skills and qualifications you will need:

• 3 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools
• Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Availability for frequent overnight travel (up to 75%).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and passport.
