PAYE - Newly Qualified Paramedic Job Description -

  • Must be actively working towards obtaining a Blue Light Driving Qualification * The NQP will work as part of an ambulance crew for the assessment, care, treatment and transportation of emergency, urgent and routine calls; providing advanced clinical interventions, including drug therapies at scene and may administer medication within PGD guidelines. They will undertake emergency blue light driving and will work in a variety of locations including; ambulance/rapid response vehicles, patient’s homes, primary care settings and accident and emergency care departments.

Qualifications

Essential: -

  • Paramedic Science Degree
  • HCPC registration
  • Hold a valid EU Driving License
  • Blue light Qualification (or planning to obtain this qualification)
  • All mandatory and statutory training up to date

Our aim is to provide a structured programme to appropriately integrate and support Newly Qualified Paramedics (NQP) into the Ambulnz Community Partners (ACP) workplace, and to meet the compliance contractual obligations to our Trust Stakeholders, enabling time to for the NQP to consistently apply academic knowledge, skills and placement practice into confident practical patient facing practice.

This programme supports and encourages the NQP in their transition to become an effective, confident, and fully autonomous clinician, providing the foundation for lifelong learning and clinical excellence.

Hourly Rate

  • Day rate: £20.00
  • Night Rate: £22.50
  • Weekend Night Rate (Fri - Sun): £23.75
