Position Located at the Airrosti Support Center (111 Tower Drive, Bldg. 1, San Antonio, TX 78232)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance & Credentialing Intern to support provider data accuracy and regulatory compliance efforts. In this role, you will assist with maintaining provider records, verifying licenses, monitoring credentialing timelines, and organizing lease contract data to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. This internship offers hands-on experience with credentialing systems, multi-state licensure, and compliance processes in a healthcare setting. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone interested in healthcare management/administration or business administration to develop strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance of provider records in EMR systems, ensuring accurate entry of payor information and effective dates
  • Assist in monitoring re-credentialing timelines and updating internal credentialing databases to maintain compliance
  • Conduct license verifications across multiple state boards (e.g., Chiropractic and Physical Therapy) to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Review payor directories and assist in confirming accuracy of provider information
  • Provide support during compliance audits by gathering and organizing required documentation
  • Assist in reviewing lease agreements to extract key data and ensure accurate recordkeeping
  • Follow established naming conventions and organizational standards for digital files
  • Maintain organized documentation and track updates to lease date and records
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve missing or inconsistent information

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management or Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to exhibit high ethical standards, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Part-time: 20-25 hours per week, in office

Compensation: $15.00-$17.00/hr. depending on experience
