🔹 Job Summary

AKSITGLOBAL is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Network & Security Engineer to lead and execute end-to-end network and security deployments across enterprise and data center environments.

This role requires a full-stack infrastructure expert who can work from physical layer implementation (cabling, racks, fiber) to advanced network architecture, security, and cloud-integrated solutions across both greenfield and brownfield projects.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

🌐 Network Engineering & Design

• Design, assess, audit, and upgrade enterprise network infrastructures
• Implement and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls
• Work with multi-vendor environments: Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Huawei
• Configure and optimize L2/L3 protocols: VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS

🏢 Data Center & Advanced Networking

• Design and implement spine-leaf architectures, VXLAN, EVPN
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and failover strategies
• Manage SFP/SFP+/QSFP modules and fiber standards

☁️ Modern Network Solutions

• Deploy and manage SD-WAN and SD-Access solutions
• Lead network transformation and modernization initiatives

📡 Wireless Networking

• Configure Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Access Points (APs)
• Perform RF planning, site surveys,installation and wireless optimization

🔐 Network Security

• Implement firewalls and security policies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.)
• Configure VPNs (IPSec/SSL), NAC (802.1X), segmentation, Zero Trust
• Support secure architecture design and compliance requirements

🖥️ Systems & Infrastructure

• Work with servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage networking
• Support infrastructure integration in enterprise environments

📊 Monitoring & Operations

• Use NMS/EMS tools for monitoring and performance optimization
• Configure SNMP, NetFlow, logging, and basic SIEM integrations

🔄 Projects & Collaboration

• Lead and support complex deployments, migrations, and upgrades
• Create detailed documentation, diagrams (Visio), SOPs, and reports
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders

🏗️ Physical Infrastructure & Deployment

• Install and manage structured cabling systems (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optics)
• Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing (OTDR, Fluke)
• Install EMS pipes, cable trays/rails, patch panels, racks, and enclosures
• Ensure proper cable management, labeling, and documentation

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering
• Proven expertise in enterprise and data center environments
• Strong experience in both field work (physical layer) and logical configuration
• Deep troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
• Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end solutions

• Cisco: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
• HPE Aruba Certifications
• Juniper: JNCIA, JNCIP
• Huawei Certifications
• Fortinet / Palo Alto / Check Point
