We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our dynamic team in Reading. As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.

- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on plant equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role in the construction, demolition, or waste recycling industries.
- Strong knowledge of plant machinery, including excavators, loaders, crushers, and screeners.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
