This position will report to the Production Supervisor. Key Responsibilities- Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on stainless steel, CS to CS ,SS to SS, CS to SS as required.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Set up welding machines, select proper welding methods, materials, and tools.
- Ensure welds meet company quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect and test welded joints for defects and accuracy.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, and quality teams.
- Perform minor grinding, cutting, or finishing activities as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Key Requirements- Experience in fabrication or heavy engineering industries.
- Welding Exposure from ½ inch in SS & CS.
- Exposure to quality inspection processes (VT, visual testing).
- Knowledge of ISO / quality standards.
- Proven experience in TIG and/or MIG welding.
- Good knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education LevelBachelor's Degree or equivalent Experience Level5-7 years Benefits Physical Requirements- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
