Position Summary
Provides interpretation services for patients, facility, and staff. Assists in the development, research, and implementation of high-quality services to the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional Spanish interpreting services in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and complete communication between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking individuals maintaining the tone, style, and meaning of the original message.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics, respecting the privacy and sensitivity of information shared during interpreting sessions.
- Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
- Provides thorough, accurate and ethical interpretive services to facilitate communication within the clinic.
- Travels to various locations within the ACH organization as needed.
- Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
- Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
- Experience working as an Interpreter in a fast-paced setting.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, with exceptional oral and written communication skills in both languages.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with diverse individuals and groups
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience as a Spanish Interpreter in medical, educational, mental health, quasi-legal, or business settings preferred.
