As Project-Based Electrical Engineer (Sitio Electrification Program), you will design, implement, and monitor electrification projects for underserved communities and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with community stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to determine the technical requirements and feasibility of electrification projects in remote sitios.
  • Prepare detailed electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, load computations, material specifications, and bill of quantities, adhering to relevant Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) standards.
  • Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of electrical distribution lines and house wiring connections, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Monitor project progress, manage timelines and budgets, and provide regular reports to project stakeholders.

To Succeed In This Role, We Need Someone Who:

  • Possesses a strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and rural electrification challenges.
  • Is highly adaptable and capable of working effectively in remote and challenging field environments.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find practical solutions for technical and logistical issues.
  • Is a proactive communicator, able to coordinate with diverse teams and community members.

What You Will Need:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering 0-2 years of experience in electrical system design, construction, or relevant project management (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) licensure is a strong advantage.

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for electrical design
  • Proficiency in Office productivity tools (e.g docs, worksheet, slides)
  • Strong skills in power system analysis, distribution design software and project management tools.
