We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Critical Care in Evansville, IN, near Indianapolis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities include assessing critically ill patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring vital signs and medical equipment, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will also educate patients and families, document care activities accurately, and respond swiftly to emergencies.
Ideal candidates possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Prior ICU experience and knowledge of advanced life support are preferred.
