We are looking for a Live Services Manager to support the operational delivery and ongoing development of Sony’s FAST and AVOD streaming ecosystem. This role serves as a program and delivery manager across FAST channel operations, coordinating cross-functional teams responsible for channel build, content ingestion pipelines, launch readiness, and platform enhancements. The role partners closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure milestones are met across the FAST channel lifecycle.


The Live Services Manager will support our FAST, AVOD, and SVOD offerings. This role helps ensure the successful launch, expansion, and continuous improvement of Sony’s streaming services. The position focuses on program delivery, roadmap coordination, and cross-team alignment rather than hands-on technical operations or content programming.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate delivery of initiatives supporting Sony’s FAST and AVOD streaming services including channel launches, platform enhancements, and operational improvements.
  • Support operational oversight across 150+ FAST channels and related streaming distribution initiatives.
  • Track milestones across the FAST channel lifecycle including channel configuration, content ingestion pipelines, launch readiness, post-launch monitoring, and feature enhancements.
  • Ensure cross-team alignment across Product, Engineering, Content Operations, Ad Operations, and Data teams.
  • Coordinate FAST channel launch readiness across internal teams and external technology partners.
  • Track ingestion pipeline readiness to support launch timelines.
  • Support delivery readiness of metadata and EPG pipelines in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Maintain launch checklists and program timelines to ensure successful channel deployment.
  • Partner with Product Owners supporting Systems & Tools, Data & Reporting, Ad Technology, Content/Channel Delivery, and FAST/AVOD initiatives.
  • Help maintain and track delivery against the FAST/AVOD roadmap.
  • Attend sprint ceremonies and cross-team planning sessions to monitor progress against product initiatives.
  • Track development milestones and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Coordinate sprint planning support after Product Owners define epics and stories.
  • Monitor delivery status across engineering and vendor teams supporting FAST services.
  • Identify blockers and escalate issues to internal stakeholders or external partners when needed.
  • Coordinate implementation of platform enhancements such as ad tech integrations, content delivery improvements, analytics enhancements, and API integrations.
  • Monitor high-level service health indicators and operational metrics for FAST channel delivery.
  • Support reporting of program delivery metrics and FAST operational performance.
  • Provide operational summaries and delivery updates for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation and operational artifacts within Confluence.
  • Help standardize FAST channel onboarding workflows and improve operational processes.

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or operations within streaming media, OTT platforms, or digital video services.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Experience managing delivery timelines across complex technical or platform-based projects.
  • Preferred experience with FAST or AVOD streaming platforms.
  • Familiarity with streaming ecosystems including channel delivery pipelines, metadata workflows, and content distribution infrastructure.
  • Experience working with streaming technology vendors or media delivery platforms.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, Tableau, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.


Job Work Set up:

  • Onsite (Office Location: Culver City, CA) - Mondays to Thursdays / Remote - Fridays
  • 40 work hours/week
  • Full-Time Position with Benefits - Includes Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
