Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Incentive Product Manager to lead the strategy, discovery, and delivery of incentive-based products that enable behavior change, performance, gamification, and measurable business outcomes across our recognition ecosystem.
This role is distinct from traditional employee recognition product management. You will focus on rules-based and performance-oriented incentives, including direct sales, channel, service, safety, quality, productivity, and employee incentives, leveraging behavioral science, gamification, and data-driven design to influence outcomes in meaningful, scalable, and enterprise-ready ways.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Customer Understanding
- Lead discovery with clients, sales, client success, and internal partners to understand incentive use cases, buying behaviors, and success measures.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis across incentives, gamification, and performance-driven SaaS solutions.
- Partner with research, analytics, and insights teams to turn data into actionable product direction.
- Create a go-to market strategy.
- Champion incentive experiences that are meaningful, not transactional, while driving measurable outcomes.
Product Strategy & Direction
- Lead the end-to-end product strategy for incentive-based solutions, including rules-based incentives, automated triggers, milestone-based rewards, and performance-driven experiences.
- Define and evolve a long-term vision for incentives that integrates technology, awards, services, and analytics into a cohesive offering
- Translate behavioral science and motivation principles into scalable product capabilities.
- Define how we evolve opportunities to move beyond traditional recognition into next-generation incentive and culture solutions.
- Ensure solutions are globally adaptable, configurable, and supported by appropriate governance tools.
- Partner with product partnership team on product strategy and direction
Roadmap & Delivery Execution
- Own and prioritize the incentive product roadmap, balancing innovation, scalability, technical health, and operational readiness.
- Partner closely with Product Partnerships, Engineering, UX, Architecture, Data, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Operations from concept through delivery.
- Define clear product outcomes and requirements while empowering technical teams to design the best solutions.
- Deliver iteratively, using real-world learnings and performance data to continuously improve.
Metrics, Outcomes & Learning
- Define success metrics tied to behavior change, engagement, client value, and business impact.
- Build measurement framework that helps clients and internal stakeholders understand what is working and why.
- Communicate progress, outcomes, and trade-offs clearly to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the primary product leader for incentive capabilities, influencing across teams without direct authority.
- Partner deeply with Product Partnerships, Sales, Client Success, Award Strategy, Marketing, Finance, and Technology to align incentives with business goals.
- Build trust through clarity, follow-up and practical problem solving.
- Mentor and support other product managers as incentive capabilities mature.

Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of product management experience in incentives, performance management, gamification, or behavior-driven SaaS products.
- Background in analytic and rules-based platforms.
- Demonstrated success building configurable, global enterprise products.
- Familiarity with recognition, rewards, or employee experience platforms.
- Proven experience owning product strategy end-to-end in complex environments.
- Working knowledge of behavioral science, motivation, and incentive design.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clear product direction and outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience in direct sales and channel partner ecosystems
- Experience partnering with finance on budget models, forecasting and governance controls.
