
- Good knowledge of DWDM, OTN, NPT, EPT domains
- Expert level of working experience with P2P & P2MP Services, EoSDH, Layer 0 / Layer 1 Core network,
- knowledge of ASON, MoT, QoS, Traffic Engineering, Multicast, QoS, RSVP
- Hands on with Huawei, CIENA, ALU, TEJAS, ECI, high end DXC, OTN and DWDM equipment
- Basic knowledge of TWAMP protocol
- Excellent Problem Solving skill
- Ensure high customer satisfaction index for Data.
- Timely Tx backbone incidents resolution and meet MTTR as per SLA
- Tx network unplanned Incident Management.
- Ensure diagnosis of the backbone incident within 30 minutes or SLA
- Co-ordination with Service fault/ Incident Management for TWAMP related issue during any outage
- Vendor’s Action plan implementation for Tx.N/W failure restoration.
- Detection / management / restoration of catastrophic failures.
- Service restoration by rerouting of traffic in case of network failures.
- Problem management for Tx backbone network.
- Manage and develop team.
- Ensure training to new joinees.
- Provide updates to team about the latest technology tools and performance measures to ensure continuous service improvements
- Promote a culture a proactive approach and ownership among the engineers.
