About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, the Contract Administrator supports the Multi Class Sustainment (MCS) Program by providing dedicated commercial and contract administration expertise. Working closely with the Commercial team and internal stakeholders, the role strengthens ASC’s commercial performance through accurate record keeping, document control, and coordination of contractual processes to ensure compliance and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate commercial reports for internal stakeholders and the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA).
  • Provide contract administration support, including document preparation and management of contractual correspondence.
  • Coordinate internal review and approval workflows to ensure compliance with board delegations, governance requirements, and related processes.
  • Maintain contract registers and records, including correspondence, contract changes, and claims, ensuring systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with drafting contractual documentation, including letters, submissions, contract change proposals, and supporting documents.
  • Support contract change management activities and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate and compliant outcomes.

About you

  • Minimum two years of experience in a contract administration, commercial or similar role, supporting contract management activities and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage documents accurately.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records, registers and documentation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with internal stakeholders.
  • Reliable and proactive, with a willingness to learn and support the wider team.

Eligibility

  • This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
