Job Description
Operate company vehicle to transport materials and products to job sites. You’ll spend much of your day on the road, keeping our installers equipped and our homeowners delighted with timely, reliable service contributing to a positive experience.
Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials. Fills requisitions and orders. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of manual tasks. Works under general supervision.
Responsibilities
Deliver needed materials to job sites using a Pickup Truck or Transit Cargo van.
Load and unload shipments of products and/or materials; record receipts & enter into computer system
Stage materials for pick-up or shipping
Move materials on and off of shelves
Assist in staging customer orders
Keep warehouse areas clean and neat, may include sweeping, snow shoveling, picking up debris, and maintain safe environment
Maintain service parts area; log all incoming and outgoing parts
Maintain inventory levels record and report specific usage
Recommend changes/improvements to work processes and procedures in writing
Understand and meet safety requirements for equipment and tools
Help lifting large units as requested in warehouse or on installation job sites
Other duties as assigned by leader.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record. Knowledge of application and use of power tools.
Organizational skills, detail oriented. Ability to obtain any necessary licensure or certifications, as applicable.
Ability to physically lift up to 40lbs regularly and up to 80lbs with equipment assistance or team assistance regularly.
Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
English language comprehension (reading, writing), alphabetical sorting, basic math skills, and legible writing required.
Pay Range
$19.85 - $28.75
