Avantor is currently looking for a motivated Service Assistant to join our expanding team at the GoCo Health Innovation Centre in Mölndal in January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a dynamic and diverse work environment within the life sciences industry.
About The Role
In this hands-on position, you will provide operational support to various laboratories on-site, with a strong focus on logistics and shipment handling.
Key Responsibilities Include
The ideal candidate has a logistics background, with hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. You may currently be working in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain, and looking to transition into a support role towards laboratories. No scientific education is required—full internal training will be provided.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and customer-focused team of 8 5, including a Campus Service Lead, Campus Service Assistant, Campus Service Purchase Coordinator and Campus Service Coordinator. About The Role
In this hands-on position, you will provide operational support to various laboratories on-site, with a strong focus on logistics and shipment handling.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Receiving and shipping goods, including unpacking consumables and chemicals
- Managing and disposing of lab waste
- Restocking lab materials
- Delivering clean glassware and lab clothing
- Simpler purchasing activities, such as placing and following up on orders
- Calibrating and cleaning lab equipment (e.g., pipettes)
- Participating in the creation of work instructions
The ideal candidate has a logistics background, with hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. You may currently be working in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain, and looking to transition into a support role towards laboratories. No scientific education is required—full internal training will be provided.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
- Customer-minded, service-oriented, and highly motivated
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Experienced in logistics or shipment handling is a bonus
- Comfortable working in a hospital or lab environment (preferred)
- Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
- Organized, flexible, and a strong team player
- Work in an international environment with exposure to multiple scientific and pharma companies
- Enjoy flexible working hours (Monday to Friday, start between 6:00–9:00, finish between 15:00–18:00)
