As an Officer - Government Affairs at B. Braun you plays a vital role in serving as the company’s strategic alliance with government agencies, policymakers, and industry associations that will proactively shaping policies that support innovation, patient access, and sustainable business growth.
Your key responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze policies by researching legislative and regulatory developments affecting medical devices.
- Engage in advocacy efforts and build ethical relationships with government agencies, regulators, and industry associations to influence policy outcomes.
- Develop advocacy strategies aligned with corporate goals and broader public health priorities.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in lobbying and policy‑related activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Regulatory, Legal, Market Access teams, patient groups, and NGOs.
- Prepare policy communication materials, such as briefs, position papers, and presentations, and provide administrative support to the Government Affairs Manager/Head.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- Solid experience in public policy formulation or healthcare advocacy, ideally within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or broader healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of legislative and healthcare regulatory processes, with the ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, essential for stakeholder engagement.
- High ethical standards, a strong compliance mindset, and willingness to travel and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
