
What You'll Do
- Sets the quality culture and strategies for the facility.
- Oversees and engages in problem solving efforts, understanding effects of decisions on other areas of the facility.
- Takes ownership to pursue systemic solutions and root causes in eliminating quality concerns.
- Knows and understands the difference between judgmental, informational and source inspection and ensures they are applied appropriately.
- Sets strategies for support systems process improvements.
- Provides direction to team members based on general policies and management guidance.
- Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect reporting organizational units.
- Accomplishes results with supervisors, team members, and/or through experienced salaried employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations.
- Becomes actively involved in daily operations to meet schedules or to resolve complex/systemic challenges.
- Ensures work/projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Approves expenditures within budget policies and guidelines.
- Provides resources and removes obstacles and barriers.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Previous experience 10 years in quality roles, with 5 years management experience (Automotive / Aerospace or regulated industry preferred)
