Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role is responsible for execution, continuous improvement, and problem solving of supply chain processes to achieve business results. Required to understand downstream customer requirements to meet expectations. Role drives change through applying fundamental theories, principles, and concepts of supply chain, and lean manufacturing. This is a direct procurement role and will require daily ordering and on-site inventory validation. There is no relocation or sponsorship available for this position.

Summary

Primary Responsibilities
- Optimize plans and schedules in a lean environment, including coordination of services and materials to match production demands.
- Analyze and communicate value steam and/or supply chain capacity and constraints.
- Takes ownership in performing root cause analysis and driving corrective actions across Supply Chain, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools, such as ERP, Kanban, spike tools, 5Y, etc.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.
- Represents supply chain in projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, or deliver)
- Daily Production scheduling and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred
- 6-8 years combine experience in Sourcing, Operations, Logistics
- Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, data mining, and data reporting.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Seeks opportunities to learn from others with more experience and tenure in the organization
- Actively participates in creation and progress of Individual Development Plan
- Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with high-volume production planning
- Effective communication skills through written, verbal, and listening techniques
- Experience with PowerBI, ERP , Excel, preferred
- 5-10% Travel to other Andersen location in GA, AZ, WI, TX, OH as needed.
